1. Click on Appointment Calender to create a new appointment
2. List of Doctors / Providers showing availability and busy times.
Note : A Doctor/Provider can have multiple appointments for the same time. & Multiple Doctors / Providers can be selected for the same appointment if required.
3. Click on the Time slot where you want to create an appointment.
4. Enter the Client / Patient Name and select the client form the list.
5. Click Make Appointment.
6. You can also click on Add Patient if the patient is new.
1) Select user defined appointment type (e.g outpatient, surgery, farm call etc).
2) The reason for Appointment. i.e. searching of Complaints.
3) Description against the selected complaint category. As soon as the complaint is selected, the end date will change as per the time frame required to address that complaint. In this case Complaints - Blindness requires 30 minutes (as configured) and hence 30 minutes is automatically added to the start time of the appointment . if the selected complaint is not already configured, VETport will prompt to enter the minimum time frame for that complaint.
4) Discussion, if any, against the complaint
5) Start date / time of the complaint
6) End date / time of the complaint
7) Current Client information, which can be modified and will update, once the appointment is made
8) Select one or more Doctors / Technicians required for that complaint. If a Doctor or Technician is not available, then NO check box is displayed against the same. in case of Doctors / Technicians, multiple appointments for the same time slots can be done. If a Doctor or Technician already has an appointment for the time slot, Busy info in RED will be displayed, but a check box will also be displayed so that they can be chosen for the appointment
9) List of equipments available for the selected time slot. Equipment cannot have multiple appointments for the same time slot. Not compulsory to select an equipment for the appointment
10) Location / Space is displayed as per the Appointment Type selected. Only one location can be selected. Not compulsory to select a location / space for the appointment
Clicking on checking when the patient comes in will change the status to waiting. This could be one of the tabs open on the reception desk.
