Legacy - What is a Plan Item in VETport
A Plan Item in VETport can be a Treatment, Diagnostics, Communication, Education or non-medical Service - So it can be a drug, non-drug, service item, diagnostic, or even an educational item.
Plan Types
Plan Types are Treatment, Diagnostics, Communication, Education & Non-Medical Service and these types are further sub divided into Categories and sub-categories. Plan Types are the only fixed things in VETport. The categories, sub-categories and plan names can be altered, new ones can be created, and others can be inactivated so they do not show up in normal usage.
Navigation :Go Settings & Reports->Medical Record\Plan item Setup
Here is where you can edit all the properties of a plan item and even create one
Choose what you need to review
From here you can search plan items as per species-wise
Plan Types
Plan Types are Treatment, Diagnostics, Communication, Education & Non-Medical Service and these types are further subdivided into Categories and sub-categories as shown on the first screenshot
Clicking on a Category e.g. surgery
Selecting Dentistry and selecting the species will load up the relevant plan items
The plan items displayed above can be edited and their properties modified.
