VETport allows different rights / roles to be assigned to the clinic / hospital staff.
These rights / roles are fixed and depending on the rights assigned to a user, he/she will have access to all or limited menus.
The Role / Right names are fixed. Each staff (including doctors) can have multiple login IDs, with each login id having a different role.
The names of roles that can be assigned are: (descending order of hierarchy)
-- VP admin
-- Control
-- Manager
-- Staff
-- Lab
-- Client
Details of each role / rights and menus it allows to be accessed are given below.
Every menu is available to a VP admin user.
More than 1 user can be assigned VP admin rights.
Normally VP admin rights are given to doctors / owners.
Control does NOT have access to few Sub Menus in "Settings". Non-blue links are not accessible.
1. Menus like Organization Details, Clinic hours, Personnel, Patient portal setup and Accounting Setup are NOT available to Control user
Manager does NOT have access to few menus / links in Settings, Financials & Inventory menus.
Under "Settings", Manager user also does NOT have access to the same menus that Control user does not have. Please refer to Control user rights above. (Sub Menus under Settings like Organization Details, Clinic hours, Personnel, Patient portal setup and Accounting Setup are NOT available to Manager user)
Under Financials & Inventory menus, links NOT available to the Manager User are given below.

Also in "Deposit Report" page, Manager user cannot "Clear Deposit" or change days Cash Receipt and Starting Balance.

Staff user do not have access to Inventory and Compliance
Staff user does NOT have access to main menus like Settings, Medical Record Setup and Business Intelligence.

Clients who wants to access their pets medical records, invoices, appointments etc via VETport have automatically the Client role. Client login menus are considered as Client role.
