Legacy - Setting Up Appointment Types
Appointment types are defined to categorize appointments according to their nature of treatment or medical procedures. For instance, a clinic can set 3 distinct Appointment types as "Out Patient", "Boarding" and "Surgery". Similary one can define different appointment types as per the clinic requiremet.

Settings and Reports>> Settings >> Clinic Hours, Equipment & Space >> Appointment Type
Configure Appointment Type
1) Add Appointment Type
2) Edit Appointment Type
3) List of Appointment Types
4) Define a color for each Appointment Type. Useful to visually identify the Appointment Type from a list of appointments. Sample Appointment screen given below.
5)Configure whether a Appointment Type is an Inpatient Service.
6) Delete the Appointment Type

1) Light Blue background represents "OutPatient" Appointment Type
2) Light orange background represents "Surgery" Appointment Type
3) Light Green background represents "Medicine" Appointment Type
4) Delete an appointment
5) Edit the appointment
