Legacy - Emails Reminders, Statement reminders and SMS automation Settings

Please review these settings on your system. We have made every attempt to retain your original settings where applicable.  For most clinics, the SMS settings will be unchecked. SMS subscription must be completed before SMS is functional. If you wish to have SMS capabilities in your VETport please send an email to sales@vetport.com or contact sales at +1216-930-2700

 

Navigation:Settings & Reports->Organization Details & Other Settings->All Parameters Setup


Email Settings


1- If checked then: A) On the Client Add page the option to send the Welcome Email with Login details will be checked by default.

2 & 3 Appointments and Service Reminders will NOT be sent unless these options are checked and a day period assigned.

4 - Do you want to email service reminders once they are past due? If so how often?

Statements settings


1 - If the clinic as assigned an interest charge in [Settings & Reports > Settings > Accounting Setup > Interest and Service Charges] use these selections to determine how and when to send statements.

SMS Settings


SMS is released in the USA. Please email us at sales@vetport.com or call sales for details.

By default, all client mobile numbers are flagged not to receive SMS. We expect that clinics will want to obtain permission to send SMS. During the appointment process, there will be an option to turn on SMS for each client. Clinics will also be able to flag it at the time of adding a client and editing the client information. Mobile numbers can be added at these stages as well.
